Another wonderful celebration of our amazing Year 6 children today as we said goodbye and wished them every success on the next stage of their journey. We are so proud of all they have achieved and know they have bright futures ahead. Good luck, Year 6!

What a fantastic day at ! From strawberries and cream to a close encounter with & .antonelli , not to mention a TV interview, an appearance on BBC Two, and some fantastic tennis to top it all off. It was a day to remember! 🎾🍓☀️

One of our recent highlights for year 5 was the STEM Day at Axe Valley Academy. The children took part in a variety of exciting, hands-on activities, all linked to the theme of what it takes to become an elite athlete.
They created colourful fruit skewers while considering how to include a wide range of vitamins for a healthy diet,
learned the techniques behind the high jump and even carried out a fascinating science experiment involving an exploding jelly baby to explore how energy is released in our bodies. Throughout the day, the Year 5 children represented our school brilliantly and it was wonderful to hear several members of staff comment on their
enthusiasm, excellent manners and positive attitudes.

Classes 1 and 2 had a fantastic trip to the beach this week! 🦀 They discovered crabs, sea snails and even a giant sea slug, created pebble keyrings and beautiful seaside art, before enjoying a well-earned ice lolly! 🍦
A huge thank you to Crazy Crabs Beach School for leading such a brilliant afternoon, and to Saffron’s mum and dad at Chapples Beach Cafe for kindly treating everyone to an ice lolly. Thank you to our fabulous parent volunteers too!

In the middle of the heatwave, our Year 6s were lucky enough to spend an amazing day with the fantastic volunteers from Axe Vale Canoe Club - AVCC.
They enjoyed canoeing along the River Axe, taking part in team-building challenges, playing games, and even a lively tug of war! To top it all off, they were treated to the sight of a beautiful black swan.
A huge thank you to everyone at Axe Vale Canoe Club for giving them such a memorable experience!

YEAR 6 TRANSITION DAYS

We are delighted to be welcoming Year 6 pupils to the College over the next three days as part of their transition to secondary school.

A number of admissions forms are still outstanding. We kindly ask all parents/carers of pupils attending tomorrow to log in to the MCAS app and complete the admissions form before their child arrives.
