As the weather is starting to improve, please ensure that your child brings clothing suitable for the current conditions, such as coats or jackets. Dare I say it — we may even need suncream soon (although perhaps not quite yet!).

We would also kindly ask that all items belonging to your child are clearly labelled. This helps us make sure that any belongings can be easily returned to the correct child at the end of their session.

The children have been retelling We're Going on a Bear Hunt using story props and small world resources, joining in with familiar repeated phrases.

They explored mark-making to represent parts of the story, creating different lines and patterns. Some children simply enjoyed drawing rather than retelling the story — which is just as valuable.

It’s time for some TLC! As I’m sure you’re aware, we’ve had some work completed at our nursery over the past couple of days… here’s a sneak peek at what’s been going on.

We’re not quite finished yet, and there’s still plenty to do.

We can’t wait to see the children’s faces!

Some of our little ones have been clearly enjoying our winter-themed activities. Through hands-on exploration, the children have been learning about how ice melts over time, as well as beginning to understand that different animals live in different environments. These activities encouraged curiosity, discussion, and sensory play, helping to build early scientific understanding in a fun and engaging way.
