This week we said farewell to two more of our little wonders who graduated, we are really going to miss them but know they will have the best time at nursery school!
Keep shining little stars 🌟 💖

This week one of our little wonders graduated, it’s a bitter sweet day when it happens - we are so proud of how they’ve grown and are ready for their next adventures in school but we also hate having to say goodbye.
It has been an honour to look after you little P, keep shining superstar. 🌟 💖

Last week we took a look at the book Handa’s Surprise by Eileen Browne and it inspired everyone to try new fruits.
We took a trip to the local supermarket and together decided what new fruits we would try, we looked at the fruits using our different senses and then tried them.
The children decided what they liked the taste of and what they didn’t.
We then linked this to learning about healthy eating and what is and isn’t good for our teeth.

Always upskilling and developing our knowledge to provide the best for the children in our care 🙂.

We are still monitoring the tadpoles at the nature reserve, and the children were excited to see they had grown.
We caught one to take a closer look at and then released it back into the pond.
Everyone is looking forward to seeing them develop their legs and become froglets!

We also explored child safety week this week, and looked at people who help us and talked about how to stay safe.
Everyone learned you call 999 to get help from the police, ambulance or firefighters.
They practiced pressing the number 9 three times on our pretend phone 🙂.
