🌳 Forest School Life 🌳

We were lucky enough over the Summer term to spend Monday mornings with John Lee from Escape Education! Our grounds open up to a multitude of Forest School opportunities for children from Nursery to Year 6 🥰

From September we have weekly forest school sessions timetabled for all children with a trained member of our school staff! How amazing!!

🌟 St Bega’s took a stroll through the deep dark wood… 🌟

Our EYFS & Year 1 children took a trip to Whinlatter on a very wet day to go on a Gruffalo hunt! I think we found him!

🌟 St Bega’s Life - Residential 2026 🌟

Our Year 2 - Year 6 children spent 3 days at Brathay Activity Centre during the Summer term and had an amazing time! Lots of outdoor fun for all 🚣‍♀️

On Sunday 5th July two of our amazing staff team and their family member are taking on the Race for Life Muddy Run to raise money for the amazing Cancer Research UK. This is something that has personally touched so many hearts of our school community, we believe it’s an incredible charity to be able to raise money for 🩷

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single penny you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Donations are completely optional and even if you can’t donate we appreciate the support and any shares to spread our fundraising page far and wide!
