It has been great to lead assemblies in Seaham Trinity Primary School this morning and New Seaham Academy this afternoon. What a joy to visit these schools and talk to the amazing children in them and to see the wonderful staff who work so hard inspiring the youngsters in their care. It will be good, as we meet on Zoom this evening, to reflect on what the Bible has to say about how we should live. Mondays are busy days for Stanley Street Church but they bring so much satisfaction.

✨WALK TO SCHOOL WEEK✨
From Monday 18th - Friday 22nd May 2026, it was Walk to School Week across the UK.
As we had SATs ending and suffered from poor weather, we've decided to run ours from Monday 8th - Friday 12th June 2026.
Any children that walk to school will be asked to confirm with their teacher each morning and at the end of the week, will be entered into a draw to win a £10 Waterstones voucher.
We understand that some children travel a distance so have no option other than to travel by bus, taxi or car. If you are in a position to park a minimum of 5 minutes walk from school and walk the remaining distance, we will also enter these children into the draw. Each child will just need to log their journey with their class teacher each morning.
If you do usually travel by car and decide to park a distance from school, please ensure that you are parked safely.
If your child chooses to bike or scoot to school, this is also counted!
Thank you in advance for your support!

✨WORLD CUP DAY - FRIDAY 26TH JUNE 2026✨
Chartwells will be running a different menu on Friday 26th June 2026 to celebrate the beginning of the World Cup.
We'll also be offering the usual sandwiches as an option for children that don't enjoy the below options.
If your child would like to participate in this themed lunch, please just send them to school without a packed lunch so they can select their meal on Cypad.
It'll be an exciting day in school with a lot of activities planned for the children. More details will follow from FOST and Mrs Cowgill once finalised.
Thank you!
