MySkateWorld Update:

Following the water ingress on Thursday, August 20th, our team has been working tirelessly alongside our insurance provider, electrician, and professional carpet cleaners to repair, fully sanitize and restore our building.

We are thrilled to announce that MySkateWorld is officially reopening this Friday!

To show our deepest gratitude for the incredible community support and help we have received during this time, entry to our Welcome Back Session this Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM will be completely FREE for everyone. We would love for you to join us and celebrate the return of Eastbourne’s official roller rink.
Starting Saturday, all regular skating sessions will resume. You can book your tickets in advance on our website or pay at the door upon arrival.

Please note: Repairs on our soft play area are still ongoing, so it will remain temporarily closed during our initial reopening. We will share updates on the soft play area as soon as we have them.

Thank you once again for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support. We cannot wait to welcome you back on the rink!

We hope you have all had a great Summer and are just about ready to get back into the routine of school runs!

The new date for the Summer Fair is 26th September and with only a few weeks to go until the event, we are still in need of volunteers to help with running our stalls.

"Together we can help our school community garden flourish."

Cradle Hill Community Primary School has been selected to take part in the Tesco Fruit & Veg Grant Scheme, giving us the opportunity to secure funding to support the next stage of our school garden development.

This project forms Phase 2 of our Community Garden Project, building on the fantastic work already completed and helping us create an even more vibrant outdoor learning environment for our children and the wider community.

The project with the highest number of votes can receive up to £1,500, which would help us continue transforming our outdoor space and provide further opportunities for pupils to learn about growing fruit and vegetables, healthy eating, sustainability, biodiversity and caring for the environment.
How to Vote

From August 2026 to November 2026, customers shopping in participating Tesco stores will be able to vote for our project.

✅ Receive one blue token per transaction

To ensure winners can make the most of their prizes over the summer holidays, the *Summer Fair Raffle* tickets will remain on sale until end of day Saturday 11th July, with a draw taking place on Monday 13th July.

We apologise for the very late notice of this message.

We are unfortunately writing to share the heartbreaking news that due to the weather warning and continued high humidity we are having to postpone tomorrow's Summer Fair.

We have to prioritise the safety of our volunteers, our vendors and our visitors and although the temperature is due to be a little lower than the stifling heat we have experienced over the last couple of days, it is still due to be 29 degrees with high humidity.

We will release details once a new date has been decided.
