My evenings have been filled this week doing this course for Safeguarding.
It took a total of 6 hours. Lots of great information which I can take forward for my face to face 6 hours Safeguarding course in October. It is a mandatory requirement to complete a Safeguarding course, but the DfE have now brought in a mandatory course to be completed online beforehand. Although carrying out this course can cause a lot of distress, I feel it is so important to gather information to secure my understanding of how to identify abuse, how to prevent abuse and how to protect my little ones in the setting. 🥰

This is what being a child is all about. Fun exploring, learning and using our imagination.
Resilience and determination.
Our children had so much excitement and enthusiasm when we visited Hampden Park today. Playing Pooh sticks on the bridge, feeding the ducks 🦆, fish 🐟 and enjoying a picnic 🧺.

What a fantastic few days at Tots2teens.
Meeting up with our Tots2teens Surrey family for Paradise park and again today at Newlands corner. Yesterday we visited Hampden Park and saw ducklings 🐥 and cygnets 🦢, we explored, climbed and saw lots of blackbirds 🐦‍⬛ flying overhead.

🌺Day 2 🌺

We spent the day at Drusillas Park
First we visited the soft play and managed to see the camels 🐫 being fed and playing with our friends.
We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch and then a play in the park while the little ones slept.
We then enjoyed a lovely ice cream 🍦 before going to the gaming room.
Thank you 🤩 to Drusillas for making our day memorable.

🤩 Day 1 🤩

What an amazing day spent with our Tots2teens Childcare Services Surrey
It was Suzannah’s birthday aswell!
Saltdean beach 🏖️ didn’t disappoint us.
We saw paragliders, dogs 🐶 chasing balls 🎾, Kayakers, a tiny crab 🦀, lots and lots of seaweed and we watched Jonathan swimming 🏊 in the sea with Freddie.
The weather was very kind to us, not too hot 🥵 and not too cold 🥶
Our picnic 🧺 was lovely and we all had so much fun 🤩.

What a wonderful day we have had together today!
We visited Explorers Nursery and enjoyed playing, eating ice cream and riding a beautiful pony called Bumble.
This afternoon we set our 3 beautiful butterflies 🦋 free after watching them change from caterpillars 🐛 to chrysalis and then butterflies.

Our caterpillars 🐛 have turned into chrysalis. The children were fascinated seeing us put them into the chrysalis station and then into the butterfly 🦋 habitat.
This week they have come into the setting and gone straight to see if we have any butterflies.
Fingers crossed 🤞 they arrive soon.
A wonderful way to teach the children about life cycles. 🤩
