We had a very busy June!

We sowed our carrots seeds and watched them grow (we still are). We watched our tiny caterpillars metamorphosis and watched them fly away to continue their life cycle. We implemented our guided toothbrushing adventure together and welcomed the toothbrush train. We took our dolls to the park and swung them in swings and jumped with them on trampolines.

To get through the heatwave we made healthy homemade ice lollies and got very sticky, we cooled down in the pool, with the hose, numerous fans and trays of ice to play with.

We have spent a lot of time in the garden playing with sand, water, bubbles and measuring, pouring, scooping. We have done lots of mark making using sand, water, paint, chalks and crayons. Of course we have made some wonderful crafts too! We are always having fun here!

Measles is very contagious, so even a small decline in vaccine uptake can lead to a rise in cases. Vaccination rates are the lowest they have been in a decade, which is giving measles a chance to get a foothold in our communities, especially among young children.
