It has been a joy to see so many members of our community involved in our centenary celebrations over the past week.
Special thanks go to Bishop Patrick and other members of the clergy (including former parish priests from St Norbert's Church) for our Centenary Mass on Friday evening.
Thanks also must be extended to the Isle Community Choir, who delivered a wonderful performance during our celebration on Saturday.
It has been gratifying to see so many former pupils visit us to look at the archived photographs now on display in school.
A final thanks to all those who have contributed pictures for our Centenary Exhibition - we really appreciate your kindness.

Like all of our classes, Class 4 are busy creating their Crowle Show paintings ready for the Crowle Agricultural Show on 19th July. Here's a glimpse of their work in progress! We can't wait to share the finished results.

It was a pleasure to welcome our friends from First Step Sports back to school on Friday to lead 'skills drills' sessions with every class. We always enjoy the PE and sports enrichment opportunities offered by First Step.

We can hardly believe the stunning amount raised by our small school community for this wonderful charity. Thank you so much for your generosity.

We had a wonderful time during our recent visit to PGL in Shropshire. Children from Years 5 and 6 scaled new heights, developed their teamworking skills and had fun with raft-building. We enjoyed marshmallows by the campfire, danced until we dropped at the silent disco and showed just how much we rely on each other to complete the sensory trail. There were successful den builds and some not so successful! We ate well and sang as we walked.
We also enjoyed the usual warm welcome from our friends at St Winefride's Church in Shrewsbury when we joined them for Mass. Staff were immensely proud of the children, who participated so enthusiastically and were complimented by the congregation.
At our small school, we believe we know the children well; our residential visit gives us chance to see them shine in so many new contexts. It was a pleasure to take such a wonderful group away for this experience. Thanks also to our families, who packed, organised and prepared so thoroughly for us to enjoy a hassle-free few days.

Classes 4 and 5 had a fantastic experience yesterday attending the Brownlee Triathlon! It was amazing to see the children persevering, supporting each other and enjoying the fun.

We are so proud of Jamie, who achieved first prize in the Music Festival this week.

A huge well done to all participants, from soloists to members of our choir.

Class 4 did a wonderful job of leading our whole-school Celebration of the Word, with families invited to join the worship. The children's singing and drama sketches were particularly thought-provoking.
