Early Years Educator 2 part time positions available at Happy Stars Nursery
Job description-
Happy Stars Nursery is currently seeking a warm, loving, sensitive and responsive individual to join our staff team.
As this position will be based at both of our settings it is very important that you have a passion for working with babies and young children
Our purpose is to create a home from home; a safe, secure and happy place where the love, care and nurturing that the children receive is central to all that we do.
We are passionate about supporting children's learning and development and the successful applicant will demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of the Education Inspection framework and its supporting documents, professionalism, customer care, and team working.
Candidates will need:
A passionate and positive attitude towards working with babies and young children
Experience within an early years environment particularly with experience of working with babies
A full and relevant level 2 child care qualification as minimum
Paediatric First Aid Qualification would be preferred
Good awareness of Safeguarding children
To be able to work flexible hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am-6.15 pm
Candidates will:
Have a 3 month trial period during which time induction takes place. Following a successful trial period a permanent position will be offered
Build positive relationships with parents, children, colleagues and other professionals.
Ensure health, safety and well being of the children at all times.
Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities including assessing, planning and observing.
Provide a welcoming, enabling, fun environment which meets the developmental needs of our children
Work with families sharing progress and planning further opportunities for learning and development.
All practitioners must safeguard and promote the welfare of all children
Meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage document
Work well within our team
All Practitioners will complete the online channel training for additional understanding of the prevent duty and promote British values
Undertake further training
Attend regular staff meetings occasionally at short notice
Successful applicants will be required to provide 2 references and have a DBS check

Happy Stars Nursery, Scunthorpe are looking for 2 qualified enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join our team.
Applicants must have a minimum Level 3 CHILDCARE Qualification although Level 2 will be considered with experience.

We are open 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for providing and delivering fun purposeful activities to support children's learning and development.

Applicants should have experience of working in an early years setting and have good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding.

Applicants will be supported through an induction process and receive additional training.

All applicants will need to have a DBS check and provide 2 references.

You should have good knowledge of safeguarding and have an understanding of the EYFS.
Training will be provided to support your role.

All applicants will need to have a DBS check and must be able to provided 2 references upon request
