Good luck to any of our past students that are collecting results from Hestia School today, and to anyone else out there that is collecting them as well! We hope you’ve all got what you wanted but know that you will be fine even if you didn’t 🙂

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that donated to, or took part in, the football match that we held in Lachlan’s honour. The money we raised was used to buy a chatting bench, create a space wall art piece, run some spray painting workshops for our students, and buy some fruit trees for the school garden. Everyone in school had a say in what we did and we chose things we know Lachlan loved to do.

We installed and unveiled everything this week and we think Lachlan would have loved it all. Huge thanks go to Lynsey Powles and We Are FISH for the spray painting workshops, and the art pieces she has created are amazing. Lynsey runs regular workshops for children in Grimsby so please check them out as well! And thank you to all our students and families for the support we have had as a school community in a very tough year 💙💛

Today we say goodbye to Lachlan; pupil, friend and very much a part of our school community. We were lucky to have been part of his journey and to have him as part of ours. Fly high and eat all the cheese you can find 💙
