A home from home environment to help your children grow and Learn. Hi all, my name is Stacey. I live with my husband Mark.
I have 2 sons, one aged 16 years old and one aged 5 years old and a 2 year old daughter. I have worked with children most of my adult life. I started out volunteering while I completed my Level 2 Children’s care, learning and development back in 2007. I loved working with children from a young age. I continued to develop my skills and knowledge and I have now got a Level 4 childcare award in Early
Years. I have a current paediatric first aid certificate; a current food safety certificate and I have just finished an ‘In home-based care’ course with my local authority. In my 11 years’ experience I have attended lots of different training course run by North Lincolnshire Council and will continue to develop my skills with upcoming courses in future years. I have a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, having worked with this curriculum since it came into force in 2008. I want the children under my care to feel safe and welcomed in my home-from-home environment. We will work together to make this happen. The children will have access to a wide range of toys and games. There will be a comfy ‘quiet’ area for your child to rest or to read a book. I have a full and varied range of toys to both inside and outside use. We will have access to a secure back garden all day every day. My qualifications are:
Level 4 Early Years Practice
Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools
Level 2 NVQ Children's Care, Learn and Development
Upto date Safeguarding Training
Valid Paediatric First Aid course
Introduction to the Role of SENCO
Makaton Foundation course
Makaton Enhancement course
Makaton signing for babies
Understanding Autism level 2
I will also attend regular training with my local authority as well
