Learners have had a seafood master class at the cookery academy in Rimini, they made seafood ravioli, many variety of local pastas, breads and cakes and also headed to hotels in the local area to work in both front of house and back of house roles!

More students have completed their Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition this week, completing their award.

Today, our Education and Early Years students welcomed a very special guest to the College to judge their annual display. Featuring a range of Nursery Rhyme Packs, Chatter Packs, and Story Sacks, the displays showcased the students' creativity, skills, dedication, and hard work.

Carol Lightburn, former Curriculum Leader at the College, was invited to assess the exhibits and was highly impressed by the standard of work on display. She commented:

"Today was one of the most difficult displays I have had to judge. There was some fantastic work, with so much thought put into the activities. If this is the level of work going forward into the industry, I am proud to be part of it."

The display highlighted the passion and commitment of our students as they prepare for careers in the Education and Early Years sector. Congratulations to Sara and Kelzie with their winning displays.

Yesterday, our catering students visited a local cookery academy just outside Rimini, where they prepared traditional regional dishes using fresh ingredients sourced from local markets.

In the afternoon, all students attended their first Italian language lesson, immersing themselves further in the local culture.
