Wow, wow, wow! Massive CONGRATULATIONS to Aidan on being selected to perform on the Main Stage Mini at this years UK Drum Show in October. This young man is going places for sure!

⚡MAIN STAGE MINI ANNOUNCEMENT⚡

Aidan Bello will be performing on Main Stage Mini on Saturday 24th October at 11:05! 🥁

Aidan started playing at the age of 7, and his first teacher was his big brother Aaron, who showed him a basic groove. He then started playing every day, watching YouTube videos of Sepultura and Slipknot, and other metal bands.

After that, he started wanting to learn to play like Dennis Chambers, Nate Smith, Ash Soan and Steve Gadd and completely changed his taste in music as the grooves became more challenging.

In short, Aidan enjoys playing and making up grooves. He now attends Yorkshire Young Musicians at Leeds Conservatoire, where he is studying Drums and Percussion.

Massive shout out to Ellie who performed with The Winterton Rock Academy at Epworth Music Day at the weekend. The sun shone down on a really solid and confident display of drumming. WELL DONE ELLIE and well done Winterton Rock Academy

A little late with this news but …….Massive CONGRATULATIONS to Ellie on passing her Grade 5 Trinity Rock & Pop exam with DISTINCTION. Excellent work Ellie - Grade 6 here we come!

A MASSIVE shoutout to Monty for his awesome performance with North Lincolnshire Music 80’s presentation which I was lucky enough to catch at Cafe Indie this week. In only his 3rd (maybe 4th) public performance he was looking very comfortable and confident behind the kit and his timekeeping was bang on! He was loving every minute and is probably still buzzin’ as we speak. WELL DONE MONTY!

HAPPY10th BIRTHDAY to my Tiki Drums snare drum! I can’t quite believe it’s been 10 years since I travelled down to Brighton to spend the most awesome weekend building this 13”x 6” maple snare. It was great to meet Preston and we were very lucky to be able to benefit from his vast drum-building knowledge. I’m still very proud of the result and more importantly I still love it!
