Well a lot has been happening at TLE with our students. We have had the Fire Brigade visit where students and staff were able to work alongside our local firefighters in fire uniform as if to search for people in a building. We would like to say that all absolutely enjoyed and engaged and a huge thank you to fire-brigade.
We have also a Paul Hannaford come visit and do a morning chat with our students and this was a brilliant opportunity for our students to ask questions and find out all about Paul. We would highly recommend you look him up he truly is inspiring.
Our students have visited the and attended a safeguarding event at Baths Hall .
We have recently had the privilege of having some chicks come to the school where our students have been learning and also watching them hatch . They have grown so big now and it is safe to say that all students and staff have enjoyed this and the process involved .
Some of our students have even visited Bishop Burton College to see what they have to offer in courses.
They even had an afternoon visit to where they were able to look around post 16 options.

👑 Prom 2026 👑
We are organising a Prom night for any student from the local area that doesn’t have access to a mainstream prom. This will be available to all students no matter their provision.
ALL students in year 11 should have access to prom, no matter the circumstances.

Over the next academic year I will be looking for support and possibly donations for students that do not have access to the necessities or luxuries needed for prom.

Please bare us in mind if you are considering donating anything and we will be happy to collect. If we end up with too many donations we will forward that charity on and re-donate the items.

Let’s all make this a prom to remember!!

More details will be available soon 🎉

The learners at TLE have been growing their own fruit/vegetable and plants this year.

They have lots and lots of courgette plants.

These will be outside of the Grange Farm Community Centre and will be available for sale via an honesty box. Donations are very much appreciated and will go back to the learners activities within the school.
