🌻🎓 Our Little Sunflowers Graduation 🎓🌻

Yesterday we celebrated our incredible pre-schoolers as we said a very special goodbye to them 🌻

It’s hard to put into words how proud we are of every single one of them. We have had the absolute privilege of caring for, nurturing and watching these little people grow, and we are so incredibly grateful that you chose us to be part of their journey🌻

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Willow and Liana for everything you have done. You have taught the children so much more than letters and numbers, you have helped them learn the most important values they need to be ready for big school: kindness, confidence, independence, resilience and believing in themselves. They truly wouldn’t be the little people they are today without you 💛

And from Laura & Leah, we want to say one more enormous thank you to all of our wonderful families for choosing Little Sunflowers. From the very beginning, all we ever wanted was to build somewhere truly special for your children, a place where they could feel loved, safe, happy and proud to be themselves.

Hearing all of your lovely words and feedback yesterday meant more to us than you will ever know. It made us stop and realise just how much we have created, and how incredibly lucky and grateful we are to have such amazing children and families as part of our Little Sunflowers family🥹🌻

To our graduates, we hope you know just how special you are. Go into big school with those big smiles, kind hearts and beautiful personalities that make you you. We will miss you more than you know, but we cannot wait to see all the wonderful things you achieve🎓✨

Today marks 1 whole year since we collected the keys to our very own nursery🌻💛

We couldn’t have imagined just how much love, laughter, and happiness this little setting would bring, and we’re so grateful to every family who has trusted us to be part of their little ones journey ✨

A huge thank you to our amazing team, we really have built something special and myself and Leah are ever so proud of you guys 🤍

Here’s to everything we’ve achieved together in our first year, and to many more years of learning, growing, and making magical memories. 🌻✨

After School Club Co-ordinator

Location: Little Sunflowers nursery 🏡
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 5:30pm (15 hours per week) ⏰

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and organised After School Club Co-ordinator to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where they can relax, play, and learn after the school day.

🌻 About the Role

As our After School Club Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of activities for children aged 4 years and above.

🌻 Key Responsibilities

* Safely collect children from the designated primary school.
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children aged 4+.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Prepare and supervise snack time, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate registers and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
* Ensure the club is clean, organised, and well-equipped for each session.

🌻 What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will:

* Have experience working with children aged 4 years and above.
* Be enthusiastic, reliable, and well organised.
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Be able to plan creative and engaging activities.
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check.
* Hold a relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential, depending on experience).
* Have knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join our nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care.
