Rowan Education

We are well into our second term at Rowan now and working towards Ofsted registration. Although our (full-time) pupil numbers are limited until then, we have had success with those who have passed through (in and out!) of our doors. We have been involved with some excellent young people (and their families/carers) over the last six months and are proud to have played some part in their lives and, hopefully, given them back some of the promise they deserve and helped to correct their path towards the future.

We have also welcomed three new full-time members of staff and one part-time.

We are always looking for enthusiastic teaching and support staff to add to and enhance our existing close-knit team.

After our first successful half-term operating as an Alternative Provision, we are pleased to report we are looking forward to welcoming our next group of pupils in September and hoping for the same success with and for them.

We are a small, non-profit Alternative Provision School in the grounds of Heslam Park Rugby Club, Scunthorpe, set up for pupils excluded from mainstream school. Opening soon...
