Thanks for joining us this week at summer school, we have had lots of fun and hope you have too! Today we performed page to stage in drama, learned some snail maths, played pickleball and had some cricket sessions from Scunthorpe Town Cricket Club. A wonderful last day. Thanks to everyone involved in Summer School but a special mention to Mrs Shaw for organising the whole week. Enjoy the rest of your summer everyone and see you in September.

Today in summer school we have had fun with murder mystery maths, dodgeball, psychology and we learned some self-defence techniques with the James Welsh School of Taekwondo too. See you all tomorrow for the final day.

Today the summer school children have enjoyed Danish Longball, Drama Games, HOP Olympics and Sherlock Bones where they got to explore real life Victorian skeletons. Lunch was a delicious Spaghetti Bolognaise cooked by our catering team. See you tomorrow :)

Summer School Day 1 Done! Thanks to all of our new year 7 pupils for such a fantastic first day of summer school. We hope you enjoyed the rounders, baking, Taiko drumming and crafting. See you tomorrow, 9.30 for more fun!

Last day… not many photos because everyone was running around the theme park. Traditional band tour quiz had and were now suitably shattered. Some expert Tetris packing by Mr Barrowcliff should help us get away in time!

Final concert…! Last one for our Yr 11s but you will always be Fred Gough Musos! Well done to everyone in the band. We’ve still got a lot of the trip left though; canal cruise, bowling and a day at the theme park!
