This is where our little Discoverers begin to blossom 🌱 as they explore, investigate and make sense of the world around them.

Our space is designed to encourage curiosity, confidence and independence, while also providing a cosy, calming corner where little ones can retreat, relax and regulate their emotions when they need a moment of quiet. 🤍

Creators and adventurers had a lovely walk around the lakes; we enjoyed splashing in muddy puddles and seeing what insects we could find. We then went through the forest, where we explored the leaves, their colours, and different sizes. We then sat together to do some singing before going off to explore some dens we found. On the way back, we found some sheep in the field and finished off in the park, having a lovely run around, sliding down the slide, and having a go on the different equipment. Well done, everyone.

Animal Week 🐌🐾

Today we had a very special visitor as part of our Animal Week — Gary the Giant African Land Snail! 🐌💚

The children were so excited to meet Gary, giving him a gentle stroke and even having the chance to hold him! We’ve been exploring all sorts of pets, both big and small, and it’s been wonderful to see the children’s curiosity and excitement. 🐶🐱🐰🐴

If you’re entering nursery through the front porch, take a look at our Parent Partnership Board. We’ve been asking families to share pictures of animals they’ve seen on visits to zoos, farms and other animal adventures. We’d love to see them! 📸🦁🐑

Pioneers Holiday Club 🌞

Halfway through the summer holidays already, and our Pioneers Holiday Club has been packed with fun, adventure and lots of happy memories! 💚

So far, we’ve enjoyed adventures at local parks, lakes and our outdoor learning area, as well as getting creative with kite making, baking and plenty of water-sprayer fun in the garden! 🪁🧁💦🌳
