Today we enjoyed doing our Fitness Friday activities for Sport relief outdoors, the children worked on their balance, co-ordination and strength whilst going around the assault course!

Following on from the children’s interests in the emergency services, today we arranged for a local police officer to visit the setting. 👮‍♀️

We learnt all about what he does, the police dogs that help him and about the special equipment he has on his belt and how he has his own unique number for people to contact him on the police radio.

Outside, the children got to have a sit in the police car and try on some police uniform. They enjoyed seeing the flashing lights and hearing the siren too.

We had lots of fun in our woods this morning, we pretended we were firemen and used the ladders to climb up into the trees. Lots of children used hoses to put out the fires and rescued cats from high up in the tree! High Greenbury Childcare

We were all very excited to have Aquatic Finatic with us today! The children bravely handled a range of animals including a snake, guinea pig, rabbit, bearded dragon, tortoise, owl and a tarantula! 🐍 🐇 🦎 🐢 🦉 🕷 such a great experience!

Lots of orders for our new uniform starting to arrive! Excited to see the children wearing it at the setting, the fleeces are perfect to layer up in the cold weather 😊
