To honour Captain Sir Tom Moore on what would have been his 101st birthday, we are proud to be taking part in . We are also delighted to announce that Mr. Jeff Shaw will be interviewing Captain Tom's daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore. On behalf of The Global Classroom and in collaboration with Scarisbrick Hall School, Hannah will be sharing an important and exciting message about how we can all build on Captain Tom's legacy π
Our students have already put together some ideas to raise money for The Captain Tom Foundation - a charity close to all of our hearts β€οΈ
Their ideas range from:
β’ 100 sandcastles and spelling out Captain Tom 100 on the beach
β’ 100 hop, skip, and jumps
β’ 100 of a physical activity: step-ups, star jumps, widths of the MUGA, etc
β’ 100 Spanish or French words within their class
β’ 100 seconds of suggested breathing techniques from The Global Classroom's recent event

Another exciting event taking place in The Global Classroom next week.
We are once again excited to be part of The Global Classroom which takes place on Thursday 9th July 2020 at 16:30 UK time.
The theme for session 3 is One Global Mind and pupils from Scarisbrick Hall School and around the world will have the opportunity to ask questions of leading experts including, Bear Grylls OBE, Lindsey Stirling, Heather Small, Andrew Brennan from National Geographic, Captain David Henson MBE, Smithsonian Science & Cynthia Germanotta, WHO Goodwill Ambassador for Mental Health.
Join us for the 2nd series of The Global Classroom on 05.06.2020 as we explore UN World Environment Day & the effect of One Global Planet in a real time interactive event.
