🍓🍓 Strawberry and Raspberry Picking 🍓🍓

This was such a wonderful experience for the children to enjoy together. They learnt all about how the fruit grows and to only pick the ripe and ready ones. We heard some fantastic language to describe the size and appearance of the fresh fruit, played on the park and even had a ride on the train.
Everyone took home a punnet of fresh strawberries and raspberries to share with their family members at home 🍓🍓🍓🍓

Last week was a fun week as always! Our younger children have engaged in:

• Den making

• Role play in the home corner

• Rolling balls down guttering

• Building ice creams out of foam

• Jigsaws

• Mark making
.. As well as so many more wonderful things!

🌊 Made sandcastles and explored the difference between wet and dry sand.

🌊Explored moving water as the water flowed from the waterfall to the sea

🐟Found a fish and carefully transported into a bucket so that we could all observe it.

🐟Found a Shrimp(something we haven’t found together before)

🌊Explored the rock pools

🌊 Splashed and jumped over the waves

🐟Dug deep holes to find the water

🐟Buried our feet in the sand.
