Today was our graduation day....we had animal house of prey come show us some of their owls and we spoke about each one the children asked lots of questions and stroked them softly we then had a party with lots of yummy party food and dancing and to top off our day we had our graduation in the garden where all our parents came to see us and there were a few tears had..

All our pre school children we have loved having you with us at wise owls we have got to know every little personality and watch you grow up into the amazing pre schoolers that you are... you will all smash reception... love from all the staff at wise owls ❤️

This week has been a warm one so far so we have been taking it in turns to do activities inside where there is air con and then water play outside under the canopy shade so we were out of the sun .... where we have been transporting the water from on tray to another using the cups... we have been sailing the boats and watching how they float and doing lots of splashing we shared our resources and took turns 🌞🌞

Over the next few days the weather is meant to be getting quite hot can I please ask that you bring your child in light breathable clothing and also spare clothes as we will be getting a lot of water play out thank you

Last weeks activity the children was saving the sea animals from the ice using a variety or tools to break the animals free the children were having free flow conversations with each and discussing how they could save the different animals.
This activity helped children with communication and language, their physical development, understanding of the world and their hand eye coordination
