My name is Cath, and after recently retiring I have now got the time to dedicate to music and specifically my passion for playing and teaching the piano. I have been playing the piano for around 50 years, have achieved Grade 8 and undertook a Diploma with the Royal College of Music. Personally I really enjoy playin
g the piano and the enjoyment it gives; being able to create a ‘tune’ that people recognise early on is so rewarding. I look forward to sharing this passion and inspiring people to achieve musical enjoyment and appreciation. I work from my home in a dedicated music room, lessons are on my new Roland Digital Piano. I am happy to teach any age from 6 to 106, and from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn for pleasure or work towards your grades, this is something we can work together to achieve. I have a DBS certificate and I am undertaking a qualification in Music Teaching with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music.
**Pricings**
My first lesson is free – to allow us to meet and talk about what you would like to achieve. All future lessons are structured around you and are individual to you. Lessons are weekly:
30 minute lesson - £18 – suitable for children and beginners
5 lesson bundle (30 minute lessons) £80
45 minute lesson - £25 – suitable for older children and adults and also those working towards higher grades.
