Wow this is just amazing! And our fundraising total hasn’t been added in there yet! Thank you to all my amazing customers and friends who have donated. You are all brilliant people 💜

We honestly don’t quite know what to say!!!

We knew that Bands & Blackjack was going to give our fundraising a huge boost and, hopefully, help us reach the incredible milestone of £50,000.

What we didn’t expect was to reach it before the event has even happened. 🥹

Thanks to every single person who has donated, fundraised, sponsored, bought a ticket, shared our posts, supported our events or simply believed in what we’re trying to do, we have now raised over £50,000 in Lucy’s memory.

And every single penny is ring-fenced for perinatal mental health support, in partnership with Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale Mind.

To have raised this much in just two years is completely overwhelming. When we started Lucy’s Legacy, we could never have imagined that it would grow into this.

This isn’t just a number.
It means support.
It means conversations.
It means mums getting help when they need it.
And, hopefully, it means making a real difference to families in our area. 💜

We are so incredibly grateful to every one of you who has helped us get here.

So now… Bands & Blackjack is going to be one hell of a celebration. 🥂🎶🃏

Granny Smith is coming over to help me bake tomorrow ready for the coffee and cake shindig on Tuesday 11-1 at Seamer memorial hall.
We can’t decide what to bake!!
Maxine is bringing brownies and cookies
Ellie is baking Victoria sponge
Cooplands have donated flapjacks and biscuits.

So, we need some idea what to bake!

It’s today! Pop along this afternoon and have a look round Wykeham Early Years Foundation stage facilities.
There’s a full Harminis session to join in with too! 🌈🎶

Congratulations to Ben Herrington who has won a one night stay at The Shepherd's Retreat Scarborough on the raffle raising funds for Lucy’s Legacy !

There was however some grumbles (only joking) in class today from everyone who MISSED the raffle completely and didn’t know about it! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 Sooooo I’ve decided to run another one!
