Scarborough Sixth Form College Performing Arts Department An exciting and inspiring course on the Level 3 BTEC for those who have a keen interest and passion for performing arts.

This course is tailored to meet your skills and interests! You can choose to specialise in Acting or Musical Theatre (both 2 A level equivalent) if you wish, or you might want to study all aspects of performance and follow the Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (3 A level equivalent). As well as input from experienced teachers with professional worldwide industry knowledge, the students can expec

• opportunities for trips abroad
• workshops led by industry professionals
• opportunities for multiple theatre visits
• professional work experience placement

This is a course designed for students who wish to pursue a performance related career in the field of performing arts or to study the subject at university. It is an excellent foundation for those looking to be involved in careers such as:

• Musical Theatre
• Stage Management
• Events Management
• Teaching
