Run by an Early Years Professional with a BA(hons) in Early Childhood Education and a team of mature and experienced staff. We are a committee run group therefore parents also give their support, time, energy and ideas in a variety of ways. Our setting is unique ** children free flow between our airy, spacious indoor room to our exciting extensive outdoor area. Indoors there is a story corner, IC
T, music, large small world, tables and trolleys with craft with a huge variety of craft materials and mark making resources, role play area, and tables for games, jigsaws and group activities. We also have a snack and cooking/baking area with access to a kitchen where children can stand (at a safe distance) to see their creations go in the oven. The outdoor areas consists of a lawn, secret garden with a den, safety surface,mud kitchen, large sandpit, herb garden, digging area and pond. We have fantastic links to the two local schools and spend lots of time exploring the community around it. Family Fun Fridays
These are held on a Friday each week in term time from 1.30-3.00pm. ALL families and children 0-5 years are all welcome to join us to play and chat over refreshments. There is a baby sensory corner specifically developed for babies as it is all in black and white. The rollers, crawlers and shufflers love our exciting wooden toys and heuristic play. We have a home corner, arts and crafts, playdough, a BIG sandpit, bikes, cars, scooters, large lawn and an exciting secret garden. All areas are safe and enclosed just waiting for you to come and explore.
