Last week we had a fantastic visit from Mick from Keeping Scarborough Tidy.

The children learnt lots about the different ways they can keep our local area clean and tidy and loved having a practice at picking up lots of litter Mick had left around our outdoor area.

Mick also kindly left two stories for the children to enjoy; these have been well read already.

Over the weekend our outdoor area was unfortunately broken into by a group of youths. Thankfully they didn't cause much damage apart from our water table. As it is nearing the end of the school year we aren't in a position to replace this. Also our excess on our insurance means it isn't worth us claiming. All the children love playing with this and they are all going to miss using it. If anyone sees a similar one for sale or knows someone who may want to buy this for us 🤞🏻🤞🏻 then please get in touch. The children would be so grateful 🙏🏼

Bit late to this. But a huge thankyou to all our volunteers! To our lovely committee that give their weekends and evenings to do admin or tons of paperwork, or our lovely visitors that come and entertain the children on a weekly basis, the ones that hunt out grants and spend hours doing the paperwork for them. On Saturday 18th April children from Northstead Community Pre School walked with their families along North Beach and back.

We are aiming to raise funds to help cover the cost of the bus for our leavers trip to Playdale farm in July.
