Novice, refresher or experienced – which training do you actually need?

It isn't always as obvious as it sounds!

👷 Novice – little or no previous operating experience.

🔄 Refresher – previously trained, but needing to refresh and reassess knowledge and practical skills.

💪 Experienced – already has substantial practical experience but may not have formal evidence of previous training.

The right course depends on the individual – their previous training, experience and current competence.

Your assessment simply checks that you can operate a forklift safely and confidently.

You'll typically be assessed on things like:
✔️ Daily safety checks
✔️ Safe driving

✔️ Manoeuvring

✔️ Following safe working practices
