Starting TODAY through to 31st August 2026, all travel on Tiger bus services across our region is 100% FREE for kids aged 5 to 15 as part of a UK Government-funded national scheme.

Whether you're planning a family day out into Cambridge, exploring Peterborough, or using our flexible Tiger On Demand services to connect to local parks, museums, and attractions, getting kids around this August won't cost a penny on Tiger services.

Planning to use other bus routes?🤔

Check before you travel: Free travel for kids aged 5-15 is also available on many other participating operators across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough this month, but not all providers are taking part. Be sure to double-check with the specific bus operator on their websites before heading to the bus stop!

💉 Walk-In Vaccination Day – Sawtry

Are you heading off to university this year, or wondering whether you or your child have missed any routine vaccinations?

The Community and School Age Immunisation Team will be in Sawtry tomorrow 31st July , and no appointment is necessary.

They'll be able to check your vaccination records, answer any questions, and offer any vaccinations you may be due.

🏆 SVA Alumnus Crowned Junior National Road Race Champion! 🚴‍♂️💙

Huge congratulations to Evander Wishart, a former Sawtry Village Academy student, on winning the Junior National Road Race title on 5 July! 🥇

Evander, who graduated from SVA in 2024 and now rides for the Décathlon CMA CGM Juniors Team, delivered a superb performance to secure the prestigious national title. His dedication, determination and hard work have led to this fantastic achievement, and we couldn't be prouder.

It's always wonderful to see our former students excelling in their chosen fields and inspiring the next generation of SVA students. We look forward to following Evander's cycling journey and celebrating many more successes in the future.
