🌾✨ A huge, heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful parents and families! 💛

We had a brilliant time celebrating our Harvest Festival today. The children did a fantastic job with their songs and readings, and we have been completely overwhelmed by your generous food and produce donations.
All of your kindness will go directly to support families in need within our local community via The Need Project. Thank you for continuing to show such amazing community spirit and support! 🍎🥫

Our Year 6 children had an absolutely fantastic time visiting your wonderful Design & Technology department today.
The pupils were blown away by your amazing, professional DT facilities, and they had so much fun learning how to chop, prep, and cook their very own delicious vegetarian fajitas.
We are incredibly grateful to the staff who made us feel so welcome and helped inspire our next generation of chefs and designers. Thank you for providing such a brilliant hands-on learning experience for our children!

On Wednesday this week, we had Erin and Anna-Marie from the Mental Health Support Team deliver a parent/carer workshop about emotional regulation.

As part of Reception's 'Ourselves' topic, they explored ways in which they can make healthy choices. They read the story 'Oliver's Fruit Salad' in Literacy and decided to bake a pear crumble using pears from our very own Robert Peel pear tree.
Miss Ganney and Mr James kindly picked the pears for them. They washed them, peeled them and then the children chopped them up. They also made the crumble topping themselves. Once baked, the children got to taste it, along with some yummy custard if they wished. It was such great fun and the adults were proud of the children who tasted it, even if they weren't too sure to start with.

🌟 Huge thank you to our local youth club! 🌟

We had a fantastic visit today from the amazing Zoe and Mary at Sandy Youth Club, who came in to talk to our Year 6 pupils about all the incredible activities and opportunities they offer.

The children were absolutely buzzing with excitement hearing about what's in store for them, and so many of them have already said they cannot wait to start attending! It is wonderful to have such a brilliant resource right on our doorstep to support our young people as they grow.

Adults, keep an eye out for information leaflets coming home in school bags today! 🎒👇
