Think Before You Post 🤔

That back to school photo might seem harmless,
but it could reveal more than you realise.
School badges, street signs, house numbers, car registration plates, names on uniforms & even details about daily routines can all provide information that puts children at risk when shared publicly online.

Before posting, take a moment to check what is visible in the background & consider who can view the image.

✅ Blur or crop personal details
✅ Review your privacy settings
✅ Share with trusted friends & family only when possible
✅ Put your child's safety first.

A simple photo can reveal more than you think. Let's all do our part to protect children online.

Share safely, Protect always. 💙

No trains will run from Sandy to London this Sunday, 30 August, due to major Bank Holiday rail works.

Disruptions will start Saturday evening from 8pm and end Monday morning from 9am.

You can still get into London by taking the rail replacement bus from Sandy station to Potters Bar and changing to a train, or by driving to Bedford station to catch a direct, unaffected Thameslink train. Please allow significantly more travel time than usual.

Students who are eligible for Free School Meals receive their lunch in the same way as all other students. Their account is automatically credited, allowing them to purchase eligible meal options at the tills.

Bedfordshire is now at a very high risk of wildfire.

With prolonged hot, dry weather leaving grassland and vegetation vulnerable, it can take just one spark for a fire to spread quickly and become difficult to control.

Together with Bedfordshire's local authorities, we're urging residents to:
• Avoid bonfires and garden fires
• Avoid using disposable barbecues near dry vegetation
• Report fires immediately by calling 999

Our crews are already seeing an increase in outdoor fire incidents, many of which are preventable.
