I would like to give you all an update and also apologize for my inactivity.

In 2019 I worked 3 different job roles, all self employed.
I worked part time as a 1-2-1 young person's support worker, a Taekwondo instructor and a security door supervisor specialising in social events like bars, clubs, festivals, theatres, and music venues.

My passion has always been working with children and young people. So when I couldn't work for myself anymore I had to adapt and get a more steady role.
In February 2020 I started working full time for a 16 - 21 supported housing scheme for vulnerable young people in Dover.
The role was suppose to be a support role but it ended up becoming mostly office and Admin work.... so I left a couple of months ago.

I do have plans for the future of the club but it may take some time to get it all in place.

My licence from the national governing body ran out on 28/08/2020.
To be an affiliate of the NGB you need to have a certain number of members join a year. But obviously I had to concentate on my most current full time support role.

I have always used my licence and insurance as a qualification. "Senior Taekwondo Instructor / Grading Examiner". You pay about £130 a year for your instructors licence, insurance and get your certificate.
Recently I am struggling to renew as apparently I am not affiliated anymore as I have not renewed students insurances or got new members.
I will keep you all updated on my progress.

I will still be doing FREE outside lessons in the very near future....... regardless.

I miss you all dearly!
I hope you are all safe and coping as well as you can in the current situation. I know times are hard but we will get back to normality shortly.
Sorry that I have been inactive recently.
I had all these plans to upload content regularly. Unfortunately with my current job as a support worker for Dover Young Persons Services I have just been soo busy and I'm needed more than ever.

I have recently learnt that I can't teach to a camera, I need people in front of me... it's like talking to an answer phone message (which I am terrible at lol).

I can now teach private lessons but I would only do 1-2-1 sessions with students in an open space at a safe social distance.
My time off work is limited but if you are interested then pm me and we can organise a session.

Hello everyone I hope you are all well and keeping safe in these unsure times.
I will be filming some content to hopefully post at the weekend.
I will be doing some tutorials for shadow boxing and combos. Going over pattrens and explaining the application of techniques and movements.

I know most of you have foam knunchkus if you dont send me your address in a message and I will get some sent out for you so next week I can do a lesson online.
Lastly I used to do a thing called fire poi which is chains with wicks on the end that you set on fire and spin I have ordered a pair and I'm going to see how I get on 😬, so I will upload a video once the have arrived. For those that are getting good at their knunchkus I would advice getting some practice sock poi they are only £6 and great for hand eye coordernation. Once you get poi you can do double nunchuku! I will also do a tutorial for these alongside the nunchuku as it's all the same movements. I will put a link in the comments.

Hello we are all training at 7 tonight this might be the last one for a couple of weeks because of the corona virus. I think all the activities for the elderly have been cancelled at the Guildhall but still can you please make sure everyone washs there hands before we start training and try not to touch hand rails and door handles etc. We will be doing a traditional lesson with very little contact to no contact just pad work, basics and patterns. I also will be getting there early to bleach down all my mats and some equipment that is frequently used.
