My name is Kelly and I run Kelly's Kids - before and after school club / holiday care! I provide a happy, fun and safe environment for your children where they can learn, laugh and build wonderful friendships! Here at Kelly's Kids I offer quality care and support basic educational needs. I have considerable experience working full time in a day nursery along with childminding for nearly 20 years. My last Ofsted inspection was rated outstanding. I provide an environment for your children to have fun, be happy, learn and be in a safe place. I have an enclosed garden and a playroom full of toys and resources for all age groups all of which meet Ofsted standards. I have my own nine seater bus which enables us to go out during the school holidays, we venture out everywhere! We visit the local soft play centres and farms, parks and further afield such as Manchester and Liverpool to the museums and as far as Cadbury world in Birmingham and the sea side at Llandudno! I have a very homely setting whereby the children can come in after school and chill, they can do activities or homework if they wish or just relax and chat and play with their friends. I have an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare, Early Years and Education and hold First Aid and Food Hygiene certificate. I also have the relevant qualification in Childminding Practice and actively attend any training that is available to me, over the years I have attended many courses, these include, Let's Pretend (focusing on role play for children) letters and sounds training for young children, makaton -sign language for children, course on safeguarding and many more. I completed my qualification which is the new version of the NVQ level 3 in childcare - The children’s and young people’s workforce diploma level 3 back in January 2012. I come from a childcare background, I worked at Lilliput Farm Day Nursery as the Pre School Room Supervisor for 2 years, and have been Childminding since i finished there. My opening times are 7 30 am until school drop off and then school pick up to 5.30pm Monday - Friday I open full days Monday, Thursday and Fridays in the school holidays (certain weeks) The schools I cover are Elworth Hall, Elworth C of E, and Wheelock Pre school - Monday to Friday & Offley Primary Academy Monday & Tuesday.
