Some of our students have been studying the History of Sandbach School for a project. Their final question is why is Sandbach School important within the history of our local community. It would be great for them to hear from either ex-Sandbachians (of all generations!) or local people who can share their opinion on why Sandbach School has been important to them or to their community. On Wednesday 17th October, there will be groups of Y7 students from Sandbach School completing a History Tour of Sandbach town centre between 11am and 3pm. The students may be in front of businesses and buildings to look at their historical signs. This is part of Sandbach School's Commemoration Day activities. For those who are interested, the school is 341 years old this year!

A great achievement!

We were delighted that MP Fiona Bruce officially opened Phase 1 of the school museum at the weekend. Well done to Tom Wade & Will Murphy for their idea, fund raising efforts and all of their work setting up the displays.
