URGENT SCHOOL CLOSURE

Please be aware that due to the fact that the school site has no water, the site will need to close early.

We are undertaking a staggered close, after each year group have had their lunch.

Students have been asked to communicate with you by phone to confirm permission to leave site.

School bus services will still run. An early collection has been arranged.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

As advised earlier, a serious incident has occurred on Crewe Road outside of the School. The incident does not involve members of the school community.
The police are in attendance and do not expect the road to have re-opened by the end of the school day.
The road and pavement between each of the school entrance/exits gates is cordoned off.


TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Walking and Cycling

Students will be directed to the correct exit gate dependent on which way home they are travelling.

School Buses

Will collect as normal but are likely to be severely delayed.

Public Bus

The D&G public bus routes 37 & 38 will be unable to pick up from the front of school. Students will be directed to catch these buses from the Commons.

Pick Up from School Site

Parents will be able to access the main entrance gate and car park from the direction of Wheelock only. There is likely to be serious traffic congestion.

Buses will be back on site at 10am.
