My Setting
We live on a quiet road 1 mile from the centre of Saltcoats Town, within close proximity to the A78 and A737 which is ideal for any commuters looking for flexible child care. We are also within walking distance of Caledonia Primary School and Mayfield Primary School (where I will do a school run for both) and close to Winton Primary School and St Anthonys Primary School.We have a modera

tely sized lounge/conservatory and back garden for the children to play in and are located within easy reach of local parks and shops. The setting will be open from 7am till 9pm Monday to Friday except on Christmas Day and New Years Day when the setting is closed, unless I decide to work. If you would be interested in childcare over these periods please don't hesitate to contact me.Healthy and nutritionally balanced snacks will be available throughout the day and your child will be encouraged to try a variety of different foods. Dietary requirements can be catered for especially Lactose as my husband can not consume this. Reasons you may choose a childminder?- Flexible care which is great if your work hours which don't fit in with normal 8am-6pm nursery day.- You would like your child to be cared for in a family environment- You would like your child to have one to one care- You have children of different ages and you would like them to be cared for together- Childminders can make the most of local parks and socialising with other children at playgroups and nursery facilities- Due to the low ratio childminding allows opportunity for development and education with more one on one time- Cost-effective form of child care - Childminders can offer school pick-ups, include requested activities like swimming, music lessons, football clubs etc

Another wonderful summer, full of fun activities, days out and some sunshine ☀️

🏅building imagination and creativity skills learning social skills with other children

🥰 facilitated throughout learning with guidance when required

It had been 7 years since my last inspection due to the pandemic extending it an extra two years. My inspector commented that I should give myself a pat on the back, for coming through a pandemic, maternity leave, our twins being born and still managing to get grades of 4s and 5s (out of 6) for my inspection 🥰 I am super proud of myself, my children and my minded families over the years for helping me get to where I am 💖

Some of you have been wondering where I've been hiding! I am still childminding, just I have two new additions to our family, who are now 15months old. Life's been a bit busier than usual but getting back to normal slowly but surely. I am childminding a reduced pattern while my own family is so young and will increase hours and days as time goes on 🥰

So I attended a social media Class on thursday 21st of this month, during this class I learned it is pretty safe to upload photos of childrens faces without the big smilie face I usually put on photos to hide childrens identities - that being said it is true that you cannot actually see if the children are happy. As I have parental permission I have decided to promote my childminding through showing happy children at my setting (if any parent prefers me to smilie face their child just let me know and I am happy to do so as before)

Also introducing two new faces here at second home childminding this week 🥰 I have 2 after school sessions available mon-fri and one under 5 place every day except one (please contact me if you are looking)
