We are looking forward to welcoming our students back for the start of another exciting school year!

Here’s a quick reminder for the first week back:
📅 Wednesday 2nd September 2026
➡️ Year 7 and Year 11 students only – this gives us a chance to focus on transition and extra support.
📅 Thursday 3rd September 2026
➡️ All year groups (Years 7–11) are back in school.

⏰ Doors open at 8:20am and students should be in tutor rooms by 8:30am, ready for an exciting day ahead!

🎒 Please make sure you arrive on time, in full uniform, and with all of your equipment ready to learn.

We’re looking forward to another fantastic year of learning, growth and achievements together. 🌟

A special welcome goes to our new Year 7 students, who will be joining the Huntcliff community for the very first time. We can't wait to see you begin your journey with us and become part of our school family. 💙

⭐ Congratulations to Bethan J, Arran M and Isla B, who are among our highest-attaining students this year, each achieving a fantastic set of GCSE results!

🎓 Bethan's results included an excellent three Grade 8s and six Grade 7s. She is continuing her studies at Prior Pursglove College, where she will study French, Spanish and Classics, with the ambition of becoming a languages teacher.

🎓 Arran achieved an outstanding set of results including three Grade 9s and four Grade 8s. He is moving on to Egglescliffe Sixth Form to study Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry, and dreams of becoming an engineer.

🎓 Isla achieved a fantastic three Grade 8s and five Grade 7s. She will be studying Biology and Health & Social Care at Prior Pursglove College and hopes to become a midwife in the future.

⭐ Congratulations to Tawana C, Katie P and Oscar C, who are among our top students for progress this year!

Progress measures the improvement students have made from their starting points when they joined us in Year 7. These students have exceeded expectations and made exceptional progress throughout their time at Huntcliff. What an incredible achievement! 🎉

🎓 Tawana achieved an impressive three Grade 6s amongst his results and will go on to study A Levels at Middlesbrough College. He hopes to pursue a career in Law in the future.

🎓 Oscar achieved two Grade 6s and four Grade 5s amongst his results and will go on to study A Levels at Prior Pursglove College. He is keeping his options open for the future. Oscar was absolutely delighted with his results today, and rightly so. He has worked incredibly hard and should be very proud of all he has achieved.

🎓 Katie achieved an excellent three Grade 6s and three Grade 5s amongst her results. She will study Psychology, Law and Business at Middlesbrough College and hopes to pursue a career in either Law or Psychology in the future.

✨ These results reflect the determination, resilience and hard work shown by all three students throughout their time at Huntcliff School.

We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved and wish them every success as they move on to the next stage of their education. We have no doubt that they will continue to achieve great things in the years ahead!

⭐ Congratulations to Penelope N and Bella J, who are among our highest-attaining students this year, each achieving a fantastic set of GCSE results!

Penelope achieved the top grade of 9 in seven subjects, while Bella achieved an impressive six Grade 8s and two Grade 9s.

What an incredible achievement!

We wish you both the very best as you begin your A Level studies. Penelope hopes to go on to study Veterinary Science at university, while Bella aspires to study Medicine.

We have no doubt that you will both achieve everything you set your minds to. Congratulations and good luck for the future! ⭐⭐⭐

🎓✨ GCSE Results Day 2026 ✨🎓

There was a real buzz on campus this morning 🎉 as our students celebrated their fantastic GCSE successes 📚👏. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces 😊🎊 .

Miss Wilkinson reflected on this cohort's journey:
"We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students and all they have achieved. They have worked exceptionally hard and shown tremendous determination to secure the very best possible outcomes. These results are a testament to their resilience, ambition and positive attitude towards learning."

After a busy few weeks of trial exams and college visits, what better way to relax and unwind than by flinging themselves around on rollercoasters 😆🎡

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying a well-deserved reward for all their hard work and effort🎢✨
