Landulph School Landulph is a small rural happy school with excellent outdoor space set in a beautiful location, just 10 minutes from the Carkeel roundabout in Saltash.

Welcome to Landulph School and thank you for taking the time to visit our page. Landulph is a small rural happy school with excellent outdoor space set in a beautiful location. The children who attend Landulph are from both the local village and the surrounding areas. It takes approximately 10 minutes from the Carkeel roundabout in Saltash to get to us and we currently have places in all year groups across the school. The staff and children work hard to achieve their best and our school has been praised for the outstanding pastoral care that we provide all our children here at Landulph. We take pride in knowing all our children very well and ensure that they can be the best they can in all areas of the curriculum. Please do book an appointment to view the school and meet the staff and children. I would be more than happy to give you a tour of the school and discuss the individual needs of your child. The school has been filled with the glorious sound of the children practising their harvest songs for our Harvest Festival tomorrow. The service starts at 2pm at Landulph Church.
Thank you for the growing pile of donations for the Saltash Foodbank, here is the list of preferred items if you would still like to bring something in tomorrow.
The PTA have also requested biscuits and cakes for serving after the Festival tomorrow in the church to help raise funds for the school.
Onester Class will need to be in their school uniforms tomorrow rather than their usual Thursday PE kits.

This year's Poppy Appeal officially launches on Thursday 22nd October. As we will be on half term, the Royal British Legion has asked schools to start selling the poppies a bit early this year. Various RBL items, along with poppies, will be available for the children to buy at break and lunchtimes by donation - there is no set pricing.
Last year, primary schools across the UK raised more than £3 million during the Poppy Appeal....every poppy given, worn or donated for, makes a difference.

Landulph's Bring a Plant to School Day was a blooming success! Huge thanks for all the plants that were so kindly donated and even bigger thanks to the children and their grown ups who stayed after school to help us plant them in our pots and troughs and anything else we could find to fill! There are splashes of colour all around the school now, brightening our already glorious surroundings.

Come and See Our School in Action!

Do you have a child due to start school next September? We are delighted to invite prospective parents and carers to visit our school on our Open Days. These sessions will provide a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff, explore our learning environment, learn about our curriculum, find out about our nursery and
discover what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.

We look forward to welcoming families and sharing how we support our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey. We are proud of our nurturing environment, where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning from the very start.

If you know of friends, neighbours or family members with children due to start school next year, please encourage them to come along and experience all that our school has to offer.

Reowta Class got stuck into some wonderfully messy and muddy fun in Wild Tribe this week. The children made birdfeeders using pine cones foraged from the field, lard and seeds. It was definitely a hands-on experience! There were plenty of sticky fingers! More feeders were made by threading Cheerios onto string...trickier than it sounds, but the children showed perseverance and determination as they experimented and adapted their styles of threading, and discovered that the leftover lard spread on the string was a great help!

Celebrating our apples!
What a wonderful Wild Tribe session we had this week! The children embraced the age-old tradition of wassailing...singing songs and banging pots and pans to bless and celebrate the apple harvest. With plenty of enthusiasm, they got stuck into collecting the apples from our trees before turning them into delicious (if slightly sour!) juice. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, work together and to literally enjoy the fruits of their labour.
