It's a working jewellery studio with a schedule of creative workshops and activities (not just jewellery related!) running daytimes, evenings and weekends.

I've spent so long on my laptop today that my eyes are going square! But I have just added FIFTEEN workshops to the website for November and December, with at least 10 more Festive themed ones still to come. But that will have to wait until tomorrow :)

Feel free to take a look now, but be aware there will be more to choose from!!

It's already Thursday! Where did this week go?!

I'm catching up on paperwork today so I won't be down the workshop, but do come by tomorrow morning as we have the lovely Becky with her Tropic Pop up shop between 10am and 12pm.

You're welcome to browse some of my handmade jewellery whilst you're here, or sign up to a workshop or two 😉

Then why not pop into Wilful B**r at The Cockleshell, Saltash afterwards where the Maku Bakery is doing their regular Friday pop up. I can definitely recommend the pistachio and raspberry sponge!!

I’ve been hard at work making jewellery this week. Mostly I’m happy with what I made but sometimes you spend ages on a piece only for the stone not to fit at the end…. Grrr. But that disappointment aside, it’s been a good week and I’ve chatted to lots of interesting people who’ve popped in while I’ve been working. If you’re passing, please do pop in and say hello too!

You can do my new Silversmithing Course on either Saturday mornings or Wednesday evenings, and we start this weekend (and next Wednesday)!

You will finish each session with a finished piece, but the focus is really on learning and mastering some foundational techniques, that you can then use to make loads of different designs of your own. Maximum class size is 4 so you'll have plenty of my attention :)

Over 3 sessions you'll learn how to use a jewellers saw for piercing (week 1), how to solder confidently and competently (week 2) and a couple of different methods of stone setting (week 3).

Then you have two 121 bench sessions that you can book with me at any time over the following few months, to finish pieces from the course or to make some new pieces with my help and supervision.
