We are incredibly proud of the effort our Pupil Parliament put into today’s Nepal fundraiser.

From leading an assembly to raise awareness, to collecting donations and running stalls, our children took real ownership of the day. It was a wonderful example of civic engagement in action; children recognising how they can make a positive difference to the lives of others and then doing something about it.

It was also truly heartening to see just how many of our families came along, donated and supported the children’s efforts. St. Peter’s is such a strong community, and days like today are a lovely reminder of what can be achieved when our children, families and staff come together for a shared purpose.

A huge well done to our Pupil Parliament and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported them today. The final total of money raised will be shared shortly but already we are at £600 in cash alone.

It was our first sports event of the year today! We are so proud of our girls’ football teams for being such brilliant players. They were not only played fantastically, they were so supportive and kind to each other throughout the competition. As always, a huge thank you to Ms Brady for being our sports champion and organising these events and thank you to Ms Marriner for going along as well with plenty of cheering and sweets!

We are so proud of our amazing drama club for their performance at Salisbury Playhouse! They have been rehearsing every week since September and last night got to show their family and friends all their hard work. They did their own version of Macbeth, which was great for our Year 6s who learned about it earlier in the year, and did an incredible job. We definitely have some future actors in our midst! 🎭

Big dreams start with seeing what’s possible! 🌟

Today, a group of our Year 5 and 6 pupils had the exciting opportunity to visit Southampton University. From exploring the campus to finding out more about university life, the visit encouraged our children to think about the many opportunities that could be open to them in the future and live out our value of aspiration.

We loved seeing their curiosity, enthusiasm and thoughtful questions throughout the day. Thank you so much to University of Southampton for hosting us and inspiring our pupils.

Reception were treated to an art exhibition this afternoon! Year 6 were looking at installation art using light and made artwork that was designed to be immersive. After they finished this week, Marshwood and Little Durnford were invited up to be their audience; they got to look at all of the artwork and give feedback about how it made them feel. 🎨🖌️🖼️
