Oak Room also had a great time celebrating Harvest Week. The children enjoyed making their own playdough, exploring a variety of harvest-themed sensory activities, and getting creative by using vegetables to make their own unique pieces of artwork. Not forgetting making yummy bread! It was lovely to see them exploring different textures, experimenting with materials, and expressing their creativity through play! 🥕🥔

Last week, when the sun was shining, the Oak Room children enjoyed a colourful Art Day! They explored a variety of creative tools, including spray bottles, paintbrushes and pipettes, to make a wonderful range of marks and patterns.

Today, our pre-school children have been learning all about the eclipse happening tonight! 🌙

They enjoyed creating the process with their own Sun, Moon and Earth and were excited to see how it works.
They also made their own cereal box eclipse viewer and talked about staying safe and protecting their eyes from the sun.

The eclipse is such an incredible phenomenon and we are so fortune to be able experience it. We have loved watching the children explore, learn and ask lots of questions! 💫
