As you can see by my sweaty head it was more than just a warmup. It was so hot & bright up on that stage James Terryfrom J S Terry Photography had his work cut out for him dealing with the sun, but as always he manages to capture the event perfectly.

James Terry does it again! Another fantastic set of photos from J S Terry Photography from our recent "Open Decks Social" event held in the wonderful event space at Daliz & Sons Clothing in the Cross Keys Shopping Centre.

This was a really fun event and something a bit different from our usual Open Decks events where we get the DJs who want to play to sign up on our website. Instead of signing up we got all the DJs to put their names into a hat & picked the line up at random throughout the night. This seemed to work really well & we plan on hosting similar nights in the future where we might spice things up a bit further by introducing mystery back2back sets & lucky dip sets where our DJs will get the chance to pick 5 random tracks from another DJs crate or digital playlist & mix them together.

What could possibly go wrong??

Figgle Fest is happening today & we were lucky enough to be invited along last night for a sneak preview of the festival site and to showcase Salisbury DJ Academy's DJ talent.

This is a totally FREE festival & the organisers have gone above & beyond to bring together some of the best live entertainment and local DJ talent alongside lots of fun activities, great food & drink for all the family to enjoy.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Sean Anthony Ladd & Jackie Dryden for inviting us along to this years event & providing the platform for our DJs to show off what they've learnt with us over the past twelve months.

This event has been organised by BKW Bars & Events Group Ltd & Salisbury Live with the support of other local businesses and performers to help raise funds Salisbury District Hospitals Stars Appeal. This charity does some excellent work in and around the hospital providing support and facilities for patients, their families & NHS staff.
