On Thursday 27th August we are seeking volunteers to help prepare the nursery ready for welcoming children back in September. Are you free to help? The centre will be open from 8am so please do come along anytime. We appreciate all support, as always.

Another academic year has come to an end and we wish all of our families who are moving on from us this summer the best of luck.

Returning children will be welcomed back on Monday 7th September and we are looking forward to meeting our new starters in the weeks that follow.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Fair last weekend. We raised a total of £1219.96 for the centre!

Our Summer Fair has been scheduled for Saturday 18th July and will be held at our centre. We can't wait to see you! 🎪🧁

Due to the hot weather children who attend on Friday 26th June need to be collected at 11:15am.

If you choose to keep your child at home tomorrow, please do let us know. Thank you to all families for your support this week and we hope that you are all managing well.

We are continuing to remain open for our morning sessions as normal during the heatwave this week. We are monitoring outdoor play, keeping cooler spaces open and encouraging children to drink frequently during their sessions.

Please put sun cream on your child before they come into nursery and dress them in suitable, cool clothing. Bring spare clothing for water play activities and a hat if they will tolerate wearing one. All water bottles and clothing should be named.

If you choose to keep your child at home this week do let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan activities in our shaded areas accordingly.

With an Amber Heat-Health Alert in place, here are a few ways to stay cool this weekend:
💧 Drink plenty of fluids and avoid excess alcohol
🌞Stay out of direct sunshine, especially between 11am and 3pm, as UV rays are strongest during these hours
🏋️‍♂️Avoid strenuous activity
🧢 Use sunscreen and wear a hat when outdoors
🤝 Check on vulnerable friends, family and neighbours
