Today marks the start of week two for our NEBOSH General Certificate course, led by Harrison Donley CertIOSH DipNEBOSH, and the NEBOSH Construction UK course that I’m delivering.

Across both courses, we’re supporting a mix of service leavers and learners from civilian sectors as they work towards qualifications for their future.

Some of our service leavers have made use of their ELCAS funding by bundling courses together. One example is the NEBOSH General Certificate and NEBOSH Fire Certificate, with a personal contribution of £480 towards a £2,400 course package.

It’s great to see learners investing in their knowledge and taking positive steps towards their next career opportunity, whether transitioning out of the Armed Forces or progressing within the civilian sector.

This morning, I’m preparing course materials for our students joining two upcoming courses:

📅 NEBOSH National General Certificate — starting 12 October
📅 NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety — starting 26 October

Then it’s time for one of my favourite parts of the job: sending out certificates to our successful students!

This week, we’re celebrating achievements in the NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation and the NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence.

Congratulations to everyone receiving their certificates. It’s always a pleasure to see your hard work recognised.

This morning, I had the pleasure of presenting Leadville K Parsons from Antac Support Services Ltd with his Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practices in person.

This is a demanding qualification, and completing it over the past 12 months is a huge achievement. Leadville’s hard work and commitment deserve real recognition.

I’m extremely proud to have been part of his professional health and safety learning journey. We wish him every success as he puts this achievement into practice and continues to develop his career.
