Speech Day 2026 was a wonderful celebration of achievement, talent and ambition.
A huge thank you to Iona for joining us and sharing the story of her inspiring career change from advertising to physiotherapy. It was fascinating to hear your insights and experiences, and your reminder that it's never too late to change direction, trust your instincts, and pursue a path that truly inspires you.

We were delighted to recognise the many achievements of our students, with so many prizes and awards presented throughout the ceremony. We also proudly announced our new Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl – congratulations! We can't wait to see all the positive things you achieve in the year ahead.

Before the ceremony, visitors enjoyed an incredible showcase of student talent, including drama performances, Shakespeare speeches in English, Physics on Tour, Product Design displays, our Art Exhibition, and so much more. The day ended beautifully with music from our wonderful choir in the Main Hall.

What a fantastic celebration of our school community and another remarkable year. 💙

Friday evening was our Leavers’ Ball – the final celebration for our Upper Sixth students! Students joined their parents and staff for a wonderful evening celebrating a brilliant year and recognising all of their hard work and achievements. After enjoying a beautiful three-course meal, the celebrations continued long into the night – and what a night it was! 💃

A huge thank you to Mrs Tarring for organising such a fantastic evening and creating such special memories for our students and their families. 💙

What a fantastic night at the Cooper Ball 2026! 🎉
Our Third, Fourth and Fifth Years enjoyed an evening to remember, with burgers, a chocolate fountain, a sweet cart, a photobooth and, of course, plenty of dancing – what more could you ask for?

The dance floor was buzzing from start to finish, with lots of song requests keeping the energy high all night long. It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun and making lasting memories with their friends.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success.
Now we're looking forward to Speech Day and the Summer Ball on Friday – we can't wait! See you there.

Theatre trip magic! Mrs Loader took three lucky students to the iconic London Palladium to see Jesus Christ Superstar — with the incredible Sam Ryder in the lead role!

An electrifying, high-energy spectacle from start to finish, packed with powerful vocals and unforgettable moments. Safe to say it was thoroughly enjoyed by all – a night of theatre we won’t forget anytime soon!

Last night, the Godolphin Music Department held our annual Summer Soirée. We were treated to wonderful performances from soloists Abbie and Emi, our Big Band, the Godolphin Orchestra and Guitar Ensemble, and first-year violinists from Chafyn Grove and Godolphin. Harmonics impressed with stunning acapella pieces, while the Godolphin Choir and Chamber Choir delivered beautiful choral performances. We even enjoyed a show-stopping moment from Chicago featuring our very own Roxie and Velma!
The audience also joined in the fun, dancing and clapping along to Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield and a lively Lion King medley! 🦁🎤

Although the heat meant a last-minute move into the PAC, we still enjoyed a lovely interval picnic on the lawns with plenty of water (and Pimms!) ☀️🍓🥂

Thank you to everyone who made it so special — we can’t wait for Speech Day!

In the middle of this heat, a little cooling treat went a long way 🍧

Staff and students were treated to ice pops today — a small moment of refreshment during a very warm day. Huge credit to everyone for staying positive, focused and resilient in such intense conditions 👏

We’re looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow… (well, the ice lolly part anyway!)

Nursery Manager Opportunity 📢

We are delighted to share a rare and exciting opportunity for an inspirational Nursery Manager to shape, lead and grow a flagship early years provision within a newly unified and ambitious school.

As we expand to become Chafynch Nursery, this role will be central to creating a warm, enriching and high-quality environment for children aged 6 months to 4 years. Positioned at the heart of the Prep School, the nursery will provide a vital link between home, school and the wider Salisbury community.

This weekend the prefect team headed to Portland Bill for a camping trip to make the most of Exeat. It was the perfect opportunity for our new prefect team to spend some quality time together and build strong bonds.

With sunny weather on arrival, they enjoyed a coastal walk, set up the bell tent and toasted marshmallows by the campfire. Despite the mist rolling in, spirits stayed high with bacon baps for breakfast to fuel a fun paddleboarding session in the marina.

Stay tuned for a blog capturing the trip, coming soon! 📽️👀

Today the Upper Sixth celebrated Muck-Up Day — their final day at Godolphin!

The celebrations kicked off with an unexpected surprise dance from our 'firefighters', before turning into an epic water fight (much to the rest of the school’s surprise!). A special mention goes to Jemima, who takes the title of “most ruthless player” after soaking Mr Powell, Mrs Avila and Dr Hillman!

It was brilliant fun all round — and we’re definitely grateful the sun was shining! ☀️💦
