Our CGS 24-Hour Runathon in aid of Nepal Disaster Relief has officially come to an end, and the results have been nothing short of amazing:

📍 3,506 laps completed
📍 1,012km covered (that's the equivalent of travelling from the German-Polish border!)
📍 £7,178 raised so far for Nepal Disaster Relief

A special shout-out goes to Mr Carter, who covered an incredible 32 miles across three separate 2-hour running stints! 👏

We have massively surpassed our original fundraising target, but can we reach £7,500? There's still time to donate and help us make an even bigger difference.

The annual Maths Challenge at our Senior School site saw teams of four Year 6 pupils put their mathematical skills, teamwork and problem-solving abilities to the test.

With incredibly close scores throughout the competition, it was a thrilling contest from start to finish. Congratulations to Twyford School, who were crowned this year's winners, and well done to all three of our Chafyn Godolphin teams for representing the school so brilliantly.

A special thank you to Mr Smith for organising such a fantastic event.

Where do our Sixth Formers study, socialise and unwind?

Sixth Former Daisy gave us a tour of Walters House, home to our Sixth Form community. Every student benefits from their own dedicated study space, alongside plenty of shared areas to collaborate with friends and enjoy downtime between lessons.

What a memorable day at Westminster Abbey as we came together to celebrate Godolphin 300.

With thoughtful prayers, inspiring readings, and beautiful hymns performed by our Chamber Choir and Alumni Choir, the service was a wonderful reflection of our community, heritage, and shared values.

We were delighted to welcome so many members of the Godolphin family to this special occasion and would like to thank everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable.

Here are some highlights from a fantastic celebration.

We'll be sharing a full blog with more photos and highlights soon.

A fantastic day of fundraising!

Today, the whole school got behind Macmillan Cancer Support . Across our Prep and Senior Schools, cakes were brought in, sold and very quickly eaten, all for a brilliant cause!

Our Sixth Formers then took the fundraising into Salisbury with their annual charity sing at the Old George Mall Salisbury . Their confidence was inspiring, their singing was brilliant and, most importantly, they had great fun raising money along the way.

Well done to everyone who baked, bought, sang and supported. What a wonderful school community! 💚

Stories, questions and plenty of inspiration!

It was a pleasure to welcome author .hitchcock today, giving our children a fascinating insight into Malory Towers, the evolution of the stories from Enid Blyton’s much-loved series, and what it is really like to be an author.

Even more inspiring was hearing Fleur talk about being dyslexic, showing our children that there should be no limit to what they can aspire to achieve.

Thank you to Fleur for helping us nurture that all-important love of reading, to and to our visiting schools for joining us. We hope the children enjoy their new reads!

Thank you to everyone who performed and supported the event. We’re already looking forward to the next Informal Concert! ⭐🎵

Community Weekend was packed with fun, friendship and plenty of memorable moments. Following the BBQ and CGS Games on Friday, boarders enjoyed a lively Musical Bingo evening, complete with a candy bar and expertly organised by our Sixth Form students.

Saturday's Wellbeing Theme Day saw Year 7 and 8 pupils join the boarding community for exciting BMX workshops and Indian dance sessions. The day concluded with an impressive BMX display, including some daring tricks involving four members of staff, before everyone joined in a colourful Holi celebration and group dancing. Ice cream provided the perfect finish to a busy day, followed by popcorn and a film in the evening.

On Sunday, families spent quality time together, while full boarders enjoyed tea and scones before preparing for another busy week ahead.
