🌿STAY & PLAY- Wednesday 8th July🌿

Some of the children joined stay&play this morning as part of our Forest School and extra curricular. We explored all the activities set up, this weeks theme was Trees.🌳 We did lots of pouring and splashing in the water tray, using a gutter to make a slide! 💦We made clay ornaments using leaves and twigs, used paint brushes to decorate pinecones and read stories about trees and leaves!🌿🎨 We also explored musical instruments and did mark making on the chalk board!🦋

Last week Piccolinos explored the book 'The very hungry caterpillar' they had fun feeding the caterpillar all the food to make him nice and full before he builds his cocoon!

As part of our extra curricular activities this week, Bebes have been in the garden and doing some painting using natural resources! Today we used pine cones, they really enjoyed feeling the paint and pinecones on their hands and making marks on their paper! They can't wait to take home their pictures to show their families!

Due to the current heat wave, stay and play will not be running tomorrow! (Wednesday 24th)

This afternoon Bambinos have been busy baking cheese scones! 🧀They really enjoyed mixing, pouring, measuring and crumbling the ingredients. They are now baking in the oven, we can't wait to taste test them!😁
