✨ Congratulations to our Year 11 students on an excellent set of GCSE results ✨

Today is a day of celebration for our students, who have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results. They have shown remarkable resilience, commitment and ambition, and should be immensely proud of all they have accomplished.
What makes today especially meaningful is that every student has their own story to celebrate. Whether securing outstanding grades, overcoming personal challenges or achieving ambitious personal goals, our young people have demonstrated determination, character and perseverance throughout their time at Avon Valley Academy 🙌🙌🙌

Among the many successful students celebrating today, we are delighted to recognise the achievements of Sam, Sharon, Brodie, Stanley, Nana and Skye, who achieved outstanding results, including multiple Grade 9s, 8s and 7s. Their success reflects not only academic excellence but also the dedication and hard work they have shown throughout their school journey 👏

These achievements are made possible through the strong partnerships between students, staff and families. We would like to thank our dedicated staff for their unwavering commitment, expertise and care, and our parents and carers for the encouragement and support they provide every step of the way.

As our students move on to sixth form, further education, apprenticeships and employment, we wish them every success for the future. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to seeing what they go on to accomplish next.

✨ A look back at some of the highlights from Enrichment Week 2026! ✨

Our students enjoyed a wide variety of exciting activities and experiences throughout the week, developing new skills and exploring new interests along the way. From creative sessions such as card making, clay work and art, to music, gymnastics, cookery, variety of sports, hair and beauty, and creating their own newsletter, students had the opportunity to learn, create and challenge themselves. They also enjoyed trips out, a visit to Stonehenge, fun science activities, and escape rooms for both students and staff. There really was something for everyone to get involved in and enjoy
