🌿 Meet the Team — Hannah & Katie ❤️

You’ve probably seen us around Chalkies, but we thought it was time to let you get to know the two people behind the day-to-day running of Chalkies a little better! 👋

Not only do we work together, we’re also best friends! ❤️ We’ve shared plenty of laughs, busy days and lots of happy memories along the way and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥰

Meet Hannah, our Manager, and Katie, our Deputy! 🥰

We thought we’d put ourselves through the Chalkies Quick-Fire and find out a little more about us first….

☕ Tea or coffee?
Hannah: Coffee… all day long! 😂☕
Katie: Neither! I’m a hot chocolate girl! 🍫

📚 Favourite children’s book?
Hannah: Guess How Much I Love You ❤️
Katie: Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson 🐒

🎨 Favourite Chalkies activity?
Hannah: Messy play! I LOVE getting stuck in and making a mess! 🎨🖐️
Katie: Storytime with the children. 📚❤️

🐱 Cats or dogs?
Hannah: Cats! We have two at home — Marmalade and Pickles. 🐱🐱
Katie: Both! I have two cats, Humf and Ana, and a dog called Mollie. 🐱🐶

🌞 Summer or winter?
Hannah: Summer! Give me my flip-flops and sunshine! ☀️🩴
Katie: I love a summer walk, but I also love being snuggled up with a book in winter. ☀️📖

❤️ What do you love about Chalkies?
Hannah: “I love being part of something great and seeing Chalkies grow and develop.”

Katie: “I love watching the children learn, grow and achieve their little milestones every single day.”

🏡 And what makes Chalkies so special?

Hannah: “I love the family feel at Chalkies and how everyone is cared for as if they were our own.”

Katie: “Chalkies genuinely feels like one big family. From the moment the children walk through the door, they are surrounded by a warm, creative environment where they are encouraged to be exactly who they are while they learn and grow.”

We might run Chalkies, but it’s the children, families and amazing team that make it what it is. ❤️🌿

Just look at what we’ve been growing at Chalkies! 👀🌿 We’re so excited to see our little garden coming to life, and there’s plenty more on the way! 🥰

A huge thank you to Liz Honeybun for our lovely plants and helping us get our growing adventure started. 💚

✨ BIG NEWS FROM CHALKIES! ✨

We’ve been VERY busy behind the scenes this summer, and we are so excited to finally show you what we’ve been up to! 🥰

Chalkies has had a little makeover! 💕 We’ve got a brand-new floor, fresh paint, beautiful new rugs, exciting new resources and lots of little changes that have made such a BIG difference. It has taken a lot of hard work, determination and teamwork, but when we look at Chalkies now, we couldn’t be prouder! 🥹❤️

👻 Thank you to everyone who joined our Ghost Hunt Fundraiser! 🕯️

We had such a spooktacular night exploring, laughing, and maybe even catching a few ghosts along the way! 👀🕸️

🎃👻 Spooktacular Fun at Paultons Park! 👻🎃

Our families, friends, children, siblings, and staff had an amazing time today at our annual Paultons Park visit! 🌟 This year marked our 4th year of spooky fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories — and it just keeps getting better every year! 🧡🎢
